2027 Spending Account Options

• Healthcare Spending Account (HSA)
  • HSAs offer a way to save and invest for healthcare spending. You can use your health savings account funds for various qualified medical, dental and vision expenses, including deductibles, copayments, and prescriptions.
• Dependent Care Spending Account (DCSA)
  • A dependent care account (DCSA) allows you to put aside pre-tax dollars for eligible childcare and adult care expenses such as day care, summer camp or in home caregivers for an aging parent. The funds must be used, or they will expire after the grace period. Be sure to plan accordingly.
• Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
  • A healthcare flexible spending account (FSA) allows those without access to a Health Savings Account (HSA) to put aside pretax dollars to use for qualified medical, dental and vision expenses throughout the year. The funds must be used, or they will expire after the grace period. Be sure to plan accordingly.
• Limited Purpose FSA (LPFSA)
  • A limited purpose FSA (LPFSA) can be used in conjunction with a Health Savings Account (HSA) on a pre-tax basis for qualified dental and vision expenses only. The funds must be used, or they will expire after the grace period. Be sure to plan accordingly.
