2022 Self-Serve Sandbag Program
The Orange County Office of Emergency Management is carefully monitoring Tropical Depression 9. To ensure that residents are prepared for the potential impact of a storm, Orange County Government has re-opened its free, self-serve sandbag program at five Parks and Recreation sites across the county.
Sites open on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 8 a.m., and will operate during normal park hours. For questions or additional information, please dial 3-1-1.
Know Before You Go:
- Residents are required to show a valid I.D. with an Orange County address.
- Residents must bring their own shovels to fill sandbags
- Sandbags are first-come, first-served and while supplies last.
- Park staff will provide residents with 10 unfilled sandbags, as well as an instructional handout regarding how to fill, store and dispose of sandbags.
