Disaster Recovery Assistance

The Disaster Assistance Improvement Program’s (DAIP) mission is to provide disaster survivors with information, support, services, and a means to access and apply for disaster assistance through joint data-sharing efforts between federal, tribal, state, local and private-sector partners.

Small Business Disaster Loan Information

In the event of a disaster, the Governor of Florida has the option to activate the Emergency Bridge Loan Program by Executive Order. This program provides a source of expedient cash flow to Florida small businesses that have been physically and/or economically impacted by a storm.

Disaster Unemployment And Assistance

The Disaster Assistance Improvement Program’s (DAIP) mission is to provide disaster survivors with information, support, services, and a means to access and apply for disaster assistance through joint data-sharing efforts between federal, tribal, state, local, and private sector partners.

Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) is available to Florida businesses and residents whose employment or self-employment was lost or interrupted as a result of a natural disaster.

FEMA Individual Assistance

The Individuals and Households Program (IHP) provides financial help or direct services to those who have necessary expenses and serious needs if they are unable to meet the needs through other means.
