Mayor Demings' Seal

Recycle Your Election Signs

Orange County has partnered with the City of Orlando, the City of Winter Park, PureCycle Technologies, and the League of Women Voters to bring you an environmentally friendly option to recycle this year's election signs.

By bringing us your sign, you will take a previously used election sign and give it a new use. Your dropped-off election sign will turn into a #5 plastic. These plastics are often used to make ketchup and mayonnaise bottles.

Orange County encourages residents to utilize this free resource to divert waste and reuse an item that would otherwise go to the landfill.

MODIFICATION DUE TO NICOLE: Election sign collection will take place from November 12-20 due to Tropical Storm Nicole. Previous communications read November 9 as the start date.
