Orange County Earth Month - April 2026

Join Us This April for a Month of Fun Learning!

This April, Orange County is celebrating our beautiful planet with a month-long series of fun, educational, and sustainability-focused events that inspire residents to learn, engage, and practice earth-friendly habits. From a garden tour and eco-scavenger hunts to irrigation workshops and lessons in growing oyster mushrooms (how cool!), there’s something for everyone.

Earth Month is a chance for residents and visitors alike to come together, learn, and participate in meaningful, hands-on experiences that build a more resilient community. Events will take place across the county in collaboration with numerous Orange County Departments and Divisions.

Learn more about what Orange County is doing every month- not just during Earth Month- to conserve natural resources by exploring the tabs for different Departments and Divisions on the left side of this page. Also, stop by our tent at Central Florida Earth Day on April 25th at Lake Eola. Mark your calendar!

Check out the Earth Month event calendar below for the full list of events, both in-person and virtual.
