Orange County Government has initiated design for a new signalized intersection on Rock Springs Road at the Publix north entrance located north of Welch Road. The project includes a traffic separator from approximately 700 ft north of Welch Road to 320 feet north of the Publix north entrance. The design also includes resurfacing and restriping from Welch Road to Lester Road.
The purpose of this project is to improve safety and make access improvements on Rock Springs Road between Welch Road and Lester Road.
Design is to begin in February of 2026.
Up to two meetings are planned during the design phase of the project. Newsletters will be mailed to nearby property owners at project milestones.
