The project consists of extending New Independence Parkway as a 4-lane divided roadway with pedestrian and bicycle facilities, stormwater treatment, traffic signals, signing and pavement markings, roadway lighting, and landscaping within the corridor.

To support increased traffic demands due to the future developments within Orange County’s Horizon West and Lake County’s Wellness Way Sector Plan.

Construction activities to last from September 2025 through early 2027.
