Orange County has initiated a Roadway Conceptual Analysis (RCA) study for the widening of Lake Pickett Road between E Colonial Drive and Percival Road approximately 1.9 miles in east Orange County.
The purpose of the study is to assess current conditions and recommend roadway improvements that will Improve safety and mobility in the area. The study considers existing conditions as well as future Impacts of developments planned. The RCA will review many areas for Improvements for motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists and will provide a recommendation to FDOT for improvements at the Intersection of E Colonial Drive and Lake Pickett Road.
Project is in the data gathering phase.
The Roadway Conceptual Analysis (RCA) Study will include an extensive public involvement plan with small group meetings with neighboring HOAs, two community meetings, LPA & BCC work sessions and hearings.
