Boggy Creek Road South will be widened from a two-lane roadway to a four-lane roadway from the Orange/Osceola County line to SR 417. The widening will include sidewalks, bicycle lanes, roadway lighting, and median landscaping. New infrastructure will improve the quality of water entering stormwater system. New drainage structures will redirect runoff to flow into retention ponds. This project is funded though Orange County’s INVEST program.
Boggy Creek Road South is being designed and constructed to ease congestion and improve the level of service of the area.
The project is at 100% design and plans are being updated. Right-of-way acquisition is under way.
