There is currently a high demand for the COVID-19 vaccine and the Department of Health in Orange County relies on the state to provide the vaccine. As more supply becomes available, more vaccination sites will become available. The following are some vaccination sites in the County in addition to the Department of Health in Orange County’s site at the Orange County Convention Center.

Florida Department of Health in Orange County

The Florida Department of Health in Orange County is distributing the COVID-19 vaccine to qualified individuals at the Orange County Convention Center drive-thru site.

  • By appointment only. No walk-ups.
  • Must be 65 or older.
  • Must be a Florida resident and present valid ID.
  • Must present valid QR Code. This is different from the barcode you receive when you make an account. You will only receive a QR code once you've successfully booked an appointment.

  • Lynx logoDo you lack transportation? Seniors who lack transportation may qualify for a free ride from LYNX. You MUST have a scheduled appointment first at the Orange County Convention Center before calling 407-836-3111 to request a scheduled ride. Learn more.

Federal Retail Pharmacy Program

Various participating retail pharmacies, some of which are listed below, are serving Orange County residents as part of the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program for COVID-19 vaccinations. Visit the links below to learn more about each pharmacy.

Florida Health Care Workers Only

Limited COVID-19 vaccination appointments for Florida health care workers may be available. Visit the AdventHealth webpage for updates. This is a partnership with Orange County Government and AdventHealth. For questions or more information, visit the Orange County Newsroom.


The Orlando VA Healthcare System is offering COVID-19 vaccines to veterans who are already receiving care or are eligible to receive care from the VA, based on the CDC and VA risk criteria. For a comprehensive list of eligibility, please visit the Orlando VA’s COVID-19 Vaccination webpage. Veterans can call 407-631-0499, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., to schedule an appointment or request more information. 

Walmart Drive-Thru Site

Walmart has announced a vaccine drive-thru site for eligible residents at a Walmart Store located at 3101 Princeton Ave. in Orlando. Vaccinations will begin Thursday, February 25, 2021 and last for a three-week period. Appointments are required and limited. Sign up for an appointment.
