Budget Public Hearing Participation Request

BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING PARTICIPATION PROCEDURES – FISCAL YEAR 2020-21

Participation in budget public hearings is limited to Orange County budget-related topics. If your comments are related to general topics of interest or concern that are within the BCC’s authority, please see the Board Appearance, Public Comment & Testimony webpage.

In light of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Orange County is providing the public with multiple options to participate in the Fiscal Year 2020-21 Budget Public Hearings. There are three (3) options to participate:

  1. Appear in person at the Orange County Administration Center to provide public comment related to the Orange County Budget Public Hearing.

    Those who choose this option must appear at the first floor of the Orange County Administration Center at 201 South Rosalind Avenue in downtown Orlando by 5 p.m. the day of the hearing. Social distancing and other personal safety procedures are practiced and enforced.

  2. Submit public comment online to be read publicly at the hearing.

    Those who choose this option will submit their public comment in writing in the form below by 5 p.m. the day before the hearing. Comments relating to the Orange County Budget Public Hearing will be read publicly at the hearing.

  3. Participate virtually and remotely through online video and audio.

    Those who choose this option will utilize Cisco Webex Technology to participate by filling out the form below by 5 p.m. the day before the hearing. Audio and video capability is required to participate. Participation is limited to Orange County budget-related matters.

Due to state public records law and public safety concerns, Law Enforcement, Elected Officials, and Former Elected Officials are exempt from having to provide their personal address.

Budget Public Hearing Participation Request Form

This form shall be used only for requesting to participate during a public Budget hearing. There are three (3) options to participate:

  1. Appear in person at the Orange County Administration Center to provide public comment
  2. Submit public comment online to be read publicly at the hearing
  3. Participate virtually and remotely through online video and audio
