Dog Park Rules
Dog owners must be in the fenced dog park at all times within view and voice command range of their dogs.
Dogs should come when called by their owners.
Dogs must be removed from the dog park at the first sign of aggression. Aggressive dogs are not permitted on the premises.
Dog owners must have possession of a leash at all times.
Keep small children and infants under strict supervision. A large dog running at full speed can cause substantial injury to small children. They just don't realize how fragile kids are.
Leash dogs while entering and exiting the dog park.
Dog feces must be cleaned up by owners. Disposal bags are provided.
Female dogs in heat and sick dogs are prohibited from entering the dog park.
No food of any kind is allowed within the dog park.
Do not run within the dog park.
All dogs must have and display current licenses and tags.
All other general rules of the park are also applicable within the dog park.
All dog owners who fail to comply with the rules can be expelled from the park. Repeat offenders are subject to banning from the park.
More Information
Let your pets run around leash-free. In addition to the large fenced-in play area, both West Orange Dog Park and Downey Dog Park have a play area for small dogs, a time out area, water fountains and poop stations.
For dog owners, these parks mean a healthier lifestyle for their furry friends. Such parks provide a place to exercise and socialize, which means happy, well-behaved canines. They also provide pet owners with a place to share information about vets, boarding, training and simply the joys of pet ownership.
