Construction Trailer Permit

1. Zoning shall indicate approval on the Building Permit application, site plan and floor plan.
2. Application and construction documents are reviewed for compliance with the Florida Building Code by the Divison of Building Safety.
3. An approved set of the construction documents are stamped by Commercial Plans Review to be available in the field for all County inspections.
4. Permit fees are paid to the Cashier.
5. The Building permit number is issued. Inspection Record card, stamped construction documents and payment receipt are returned to applicant.
6. Additional sub-permits may be obtained, which are then linked to the Building Permit for record purposes.

1. The Building Permit Application form shall be approved by Zoning.
   • The owners estimated value must be written on the front of the application.
   • Page 2 of the Building Permit Application estimated value exceeds $2,500.
   • The Notice of Commencement (NOC) form, if value of job is over the amount of $2,500.
   • Completed Power of Attorney, if license holder is not present.
2. Construction Trailer permitting process requirements are as follows:

   Construction Trailers 8 ft. X 32 ft. wide and smaller

   • Two (2) sets of plans containing:
     1. Site plan with legal description.
     2. Floor plan
     3. Holding Tank Permit (If applicable)
   Construction Trailers over 8 ft. X 32 ft. (these construction trailers are considered modular buildings)
   • Two (2) sets of plans containing:
     1. Site plan with legal description.
     2. Floor plan
     3. Holding Tank Permit (If applicable)
     4. Department of Community Affairs (DCA) approved modular building plan
     5. Florida Energy Efficiency Calculations, if applicable
     6. Engineered foundation and tie down plan (piers may be stacked block or other approved materials)
   Sales Trailers
   • Nine (9) sets of plans containing:
     1. Site plan with legal description.
     2. Holding Tank Permit (If applicable)
     3. Department of Community Affairs (DCA) approved modular building plan
     4. Engineered foundation and tie down plan (piers may be stacked block or other approved materials), signed and sealed.
     5. Ramp plan, signed and sealed.
   • Three (3) sets of un-attached Florida Energy Efficiency Calculations if applicable
3. A licensed contractor will be required for this project.
   • NOTE: Only a Licensed Contractor is allowed to give Power of Attorney to an agent. Power of Attorney must be original, site specific and notarized.
