Treatment and Recovery

The Treatment and Recovery workgroup is committed to increasing awareness of treatment options for substance use disorders. A priority for this group is to remove community-level barriers to treatment accessibility and reduce the social stigma associated with addiction. This group advocates for and supports our local Community Recovery Organization (CRO). Members assist the Drug-Free Office by identifying barriers to accessing services in our community. Also, members recommend strategies for educating parents, community members, and faith leaders on treatment programs available for youth and adults.

Selected Workgroup Projects: Annual Treatment Conference, Provider Network Meetings, Recovery Walk, End Dependence Day Hope a Thon, and Community Presentations.
