The Administrative Services Department is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the various divisions that provide internal services to county agencies. Divisions comprising the Administrative Services Department are listed below.
The Facilities Management Division maintains approximately 280 government buildings, providing repairs, fabrication, and management services, along with environment-friendly initiatives for long-term benefits to the Orange County ecology.
The Fleet Management Division maintains county vehicles, emergency generators and pumps, and emergency-rescue ambulances. The division also operates and maintains the countywide vehicle refueling system and engages in recovery and recycling of resources to protect the local environment.
The Real Estate Management Division acquires real estate property for county purposes, handles title search/examination, appraisal/review, cost estimates, negotiations for acquisition, and condemnation suit preparation.
