Introduction to the Blue Ribbon Panel on Education

Welcome to the official website of the Blue Ribbon Panel on Education. This community panel consists of 25 members, appointed by City of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, Orange County Mayor Rich Crotty and the Orange County School Board. By examining influences affecting student and school performance in Orange County, the Panel is working toward specific recommendations with the goal of improved student performance in Orange County's public schools.

Both panel meetings and committee meetings are open to the public and aired on Orange TV. We invite you to explore the topics with us, including early childhood education; parental and community support; teacher performance, retention and pay; student performance; and overall management of the school district.
