Orange County initiated a Traffic Calming and Pedestrian Safety Study along Horizon's West Lakeside Village Community. The study area is bounded by Tattant Blvd on the south, Overstreet Road on the west, Lake Sawyer Dr on the north and Winter Garden Vineland Rd on the east. The study will include:
This study comes as a result of multiple requests for traffic calming in the lake side village community of Horizon's West Community. Traffic Engineering thought that it would be best to look at the neighborhood in a holistic way rather than spot treat specific areas.
This study is underway and it is anticipated to be completed by Fall of 2022.
