Yard Waste and Recycling Collection Service Continue for Unincorporated Orange County on New Year’s Day

Orange County, FL – Orange County Utilities yard waste and recycling collection service will continue as scheduled on Wednesday, January 1, for the New Year’s Day holiday. Customers will receive their regularly scheduled yard waste collection service on Wednesday. Customers with recycling collection on Wednesday will also receive their regularly scheduled service. Bulky items will not be collected during the holiday week.

Customers are reminded that live Christmas trees can be set out at the curb on a Wednesday for collection and recycling. Trees over six feet should be cut in half. Remove all ornaments, decorations, and stands before placing trees at the curb. Artificial trees are not collected with yard waste.
