Through these ministries, the department makes every effort to meet the spiritual and religious needs of all inmates regardless of their faith or choice of religion.
Inmates provide labor in the form of work crews who clean and maintain county roadways under the directions of armed correctional officers. The work consists of litter removal, ditch cleaning, sod installation, lawn maintenance, and other labor-intensive duties.
