Provides services for families struggling with adolescent children and teenagers, especially those who are truant, runaway and ungovernable. This population of children is defined as Children and Families in Need of Services (CINS/FINS). Program is a voluntary, in-home family intervention service for families whose children are at risk of removal due to abuse or neglect. Services are only accessible through open investigation referrals by The Department of Children and Family Services and Community Based Care of Central Florida.
Is a residential foster group home for children ages 6 to 18+ who have been removed from their homes by the State of Florida due to abuse, neglect or abandonment. Children are placed here by the Department of Children and Family Services and Community Based Care of Central Florida.
Provides services to Orange County youth between the ages of 10 and 18 that have shown to be at a moderate – high risk of continued involvement with the Department of Juvenile Justice. Must live in Orange County and have current or pending probation supervision services with the Department of Juvenile Justice. Provides temporary housing for youth experiencing a variety of problems. Open 24 hours, 7 days a week, youth at the shelter may be homeless, runaways, lockouts or may be seeking a cooling off period during a family crisis. The Youth Shelter accepts referrals from families, schools, the court system, DJJ, DCF, law enforcement and other agencies.
