Information

Orange County Government has earmarked $5 million in CARES Act funding for its Arts in Public Parks Initiative.

The initiative was established in order to meet the diverse needs of the local Arts & Culture community, and includes an investment made by Orange County to create social distancing-compliant performance spaces at six park locations to allow residents and guests to gather and enjoy performances and activities hosted by local arts organizations.

Overview and Fees

  • Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. All park facilities and equipment are based on availability.
  • Insurance is required to book and rent park facilities.
  • Orange County Parks and Recreation staff will create temporary circles or “pods” drawn on the ground for up to four to six spectators to sit in.
  • The organization renting the facility will be responsible for adhering to the social distancing requirements established by Orange County Parks and Recreation, and not exceeding the maximum participant number for the event.
  • All ticket sales or reservations must be made in advance. No ticket sales may be made “at the door.”
  • Orange County will provide tents, chairs and restrooms; stage and sound equipment are available on a first-come, first served basis. The organization renting the facility will be responsible for all other rentals, as well as additional fees.
