Summer 2019 Camp Scooter Program

Lottery Dates: March 17 - 31, 2019

If remaining spots are available, first come, first served on April 9, 2019.

Program Dates: June 3 - August 2, 2019

Times: Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. daily (there is no camp on Thursday, July 4 due to the holiday)

Weekly Cost: $80 regular fee, $75 per additional child, $60 reduced lunch fee, $50 free lunch fee and $25 state assistance fee (a school board or state letter showing which program the child is in is required in order to qualify for the lower fees); $20 out-of-County fee applies in addition to regular fees. Willow Street program is free.

Sites: Barnett Park, Bear Creek Rec Complex, Bithlo Park, Capehart Park, East Orange District Park, Fort Gatlin Rec Complex, Goldenrod Rec Center, Lockhart Program, Meadow Woods Rec Center, Orlo Vista Park, Silver Star Rec Center, South Econ Rec Center and Willow Street.

Afterschool Programs:
Rec Squad

The REC SQUAD is a PAID afterschool recreation program for elementary school aged students. The program is Monday-Friday taking place August 13, 2018 - May 29, 2019. Time is after school until 6 p.m. The weekly cost for the program is $30 regular fee, $20 reduced lunch fee, $15 free lunch fee and $7.50 food stamps. A letter showing which program the child is in is required in order to qualify for the lower fees. The program will consist of homework time, sports, games, arts-n-crafts, guest speakers, and much more, and a hot meal and a snack will be provided each day by Second Harvest Food Bank. Space is limited at each park and transportation will be provided only to the schools listed for each site. Please call the park you are interested in for further information (see list below).

Afterschool Programs:
Rec Zone

The REC ZONE is a FREE afterschool recreation program for elementary and middle school student, conducted at parks with pavilions. Please note there are no indoor facilities at these parks. The program is Monday-Friday, August 13, 2018 - May 29, 2019, after school until 6 p.m. Cost for the program is FREE! The program consists of sports, games, arts-n-crafts, guest speakers and much more; something exciting occurs each day. Space is limited per park; call the parks for further information.
