A portion of the Lake Apopka Loop Trail will be CLOSED February 18 - 20 due to construction of a restoration project: Lake Apopka North Shore, between the historic pump house and the intersection of the lake-side Loop Trail and Conrad Road. Visitors should follow detour signs.

Hikers, cyclists and bird watchers will enjoy the beauty of this packed trail! The trailhead is located in Magnolia Park, 2929 S. Binion Rd., Apopka, on the west side of Binion Road, north of the boat ramp and picnic pavilion.

On February 20, 2014, Phase 2 of the Lake Apopka Loop Trail opened, from Magnolia Park to the Lake County line.

Stop by the Lovell's Landing State Historic Marker, located on the trail in Magnolia Park, to learn more about William Lovell's (1828 - 1903) role in Apopka's history.
