Orange County Government Launches Completely Redesigned Website
Site designed with ease, users in mind

(Orange County) – Mayor Teresa Jacobs is proud to announce the launch of Orange County’s completely redesigned website. The site, which is now live, can still be found at www.OrangeCountyFL.net. Visitors will find a more user-friendly website that features an improved, prominent search engine to browse all services. The site also includes a welcome video from Mayor Jacobs and a tutorial that demonstrates the ease of navigation. The website design focuses on taking users right where they want to go without having to navigate through various layers of content.

OrangeCountyFL.net is your direct link to news and information regarding your government, how your tax dollars are spent and the services we provide,” said Mayor Jacobs. “Our goal is to make the site efficient, productive and hopefully fun so citizens can get connected and engage with their government.”

The redesign of the website was part of Mayor Jacobs’ vision to offer residents, visitors and those looking to do business in Orange County with a useful and easy to use tool.  Staff from Orange County’s Information Systems and Services Division completed the redesign after receiving input from a committee made up of Orange County employees.

The website also includes a new “Stay Connected” area that offers easy access to Board of County Commissioners meeting agendas, ways to get involved through advisory boards and other volunteer opportunities as well as how to contact the Office of Public Engagement and Citizen Advocacy. The site will also be available in Spanish in the coming weeks.
