Foster Care

Our Foster Program places pets that are sick, injured, in need of socialization skills, or too young to be adopted into loving homes until they are ready for adoption. In 2011, 98% of animals that returned healthy from foster care were adopted or rescued from Animal Services. For more information, check out our brochure. Get your angel wings today!

You must:

• Reside in or be employed by Orange County.
• Complete a foster care application.
• Complete foster orientation, which is held monthly at our shelter.
• Register here.
