The Spiel Extra e-news site is your biweekly source for Orange County events and information. Created by the Communications Division and ISS, the site was designed for Orange County employees to find out what's happening around the County as easy as 1, 2, 3...
One - the left column contains graphic links to groups that frequently have multiple listings: Animal Services, Cooperative Extension, HR Employee Specials, History Center, and Parks & Recreation.
Two - the middle "What's New" column contains new listings received by the Communications Division since the previously posted edition of the Spiel Extra. Sometimes, we receive more new postings than will fit on the home page. To see a complete list of "What's New" articles, click on the "View all What's New postings" link at the bottom of this column.
Three - the right "What's Happening" column contains all published events and announcements from previous editions. Any listing over two weeks old will NOT be posted under "What's New." To see all of previous postings, click on the link "View all What's Happening postings."
Note: Postings are in date order (if applicable), so events happening sooner appear ahead of those happening later.
All postings require management approval: The Communications Division receives several requests for announcements and postings and cannot be held liable for verifying managerial approval. If you would like to submit an event for posting in the Spiel Extra, please check with your division manager for department protocol.
